PlatThix Silicone Thickener is a liquid thickening agent suitable for thickening all silicones from the PlatSil® line. It allows you to thicken the liquid mixture as desired, up to a consistency that permits application, for example, with a brush (such as LifeForm or GoCast). This preparation only thickens the mixture while it is still in liquid form and does not affect the hardness of the silicone after curing!
Add up to 5% PlatThix to the total mass of PlatSil® A + B. Experiment to determine the best amount to add for a specific application.
