LifeForm Facecoat Life Casting Silicone. Two-component silicone rubber for making face molds.
LifeForm Facecoat is an RTV silicone rubber that is positively cured by Poly, which vulcanizes at room temperature. These two components are mixed in a 1:1 ratio, resulting in an excellent thixotropic mixture ready to be applied to the body (protected with petroleum jelly). Advantages: It can be cast directly into a mold that can be used multiple times. It can bond with itself, allowing the makeup artist to apply thinner layers, resulting in less material used and reduced waste.
It offers entirely unique release properties from the mold and/or face. Unlike other silicones cast on live tissues, which require the application of a barrier or a fairly thick release layer to ensure good release, potentially obscuring or losing details, LifeForm Facecoat Life Casting can be applied directly to clean skin without losing details!
